
We are so proud of our PRIMETIME participants. This competition is held annually at Greenwood ES and allow students an opportunity to showcase what they've learned about durable soft skills like interviewing, problem solving, and communication.




Career Week was a huge success! Our students were excited to learn about so many career opportunities. A big thank you to our school counselors Ms. Meadows and Ms. Johnson.

Nutzy came to visit to tell us about the importance of reading. Students who read and fill out their bookmark my March 21st will earn a free ticket to a Flying Squirrels game.



Today our school had so much fun kicking off this year’s Kids Heart Challenge! Alongside this year’s heart heroes, we’re learning about healthy hearts and life lessons like getting active, asking for help, resting well and being kind. BONUS: your student will get a free wristband for joining at http://www2.heart.org/goto/BakerElementarySchool or using the AHA Schools app.


The 100th day of school will be next Tuesday 2/11. We will celebrate by wearing neon, dressing as our future career, or dressing as a 100 year old person.


This week our students learned about how fun reading can be by attending the Brian Curry Magic Show.
